Motor Incoherence

Motor incoherence is the absence or impairment of purposeful motor activity. The condition is very common when the pyramidal system of the brain is damaged (these are the areas of the cerebral cortex responsible for movement). Occurs during their intoxication (for example, with alcohol and poisoning with drugs or alcohol), with traumatic brain injuries, tumors, epilepsy, strokes. It is observed in multiple sclerosis and other diseases.

Motor pathology often affects the functions of other systems. Sometimes observed as a consequence of alcoholism after poisoning or coma. In some cases, it occurs due to damage to nerve ganglia and trunks. Symptoms of the problem make the patient’s life significantly more difficult. The patient cannot eat or even dress independently.
