**Duca W. W. Duke (1673-1702) is a renowned American pathologist.** He was born in 1838 in Rugby, Vermont, and graduated from Clarkson University in Plainfield, New York. At the university, he gained knowledge in the field of medicine, as he was a member of the student scientific society and participated in scientific research.
