**Mastopathy** - a pathological condition of the mammary gland, accompanied by pathological changes in the tissue of the glandular tissue of the mammary glands - can be either an independent disease - a predominantly benign diagnosis, or a symptom, a general definition of a condition of some complexity, more often, for example, also benign, but multiple hyperplasia, that is, mastodynia; and it may not manifest itself in any way, it depends on many factors. Benign mastopathy has a specific clinical picture or set of symptoms that reflect an organic change in tissue, called in medicine hyperplasia of breast tissue. In some cases, mastopathy can develop into a more complex pathology and, above all, into breast cancer. The clinical picture of mastopathy is very diverse and depends on the type of the disease. Although in many clinical cases a number of tests are used to establish it, it can be diagnosed even at the earliest stages and by a qualified specialist. To diagnose mastopathy in yourself, it is enough to be able to distinguish hard, sometimes painful formations from ordinary “balls” of iron in the chest, that is, by position. This cannot be called an objective approach, since mastopathy is still difficult to suspect and accurately diagnose on your own, although some differences in its external manifestation may indicate a serious illness. It should be remembered that the predisposition to mastopathy is inherited. In addition, it can be diagnosed by knowing a detailed history of the disease and only partially visual signs. If there are serious signs of the disease, it is recommended to immediately consult a doctor, even without laboratory and other tests. Typically, mastopia in women is manifested by sensations of severe pain in the breasts, which intensifies when touching them, and they become dense. Such manifestations of the disease may be accompanied by general weakness, elevated body temperature, rapid heartbeat and headache.
