Eferox

Eferox is a drug that is produced in Germany and belongs to the group of drugs that stimulate thyroid function. It contains the active substance levothyroxine sodium, which helps regulate the production of thyroid hormones by the human body. This drug is used to treat hypothyroid conditions such as goiter and pituitary hypothyroidism, and to prevent relapse after thyroid resection or scintiragic suppression tests.

Eferox has a number of contraindications, including hypersensitivity to leothyroxine and untreated thyrotoxicosis. It can also cause side effects such as tachycardia, insomnia, adrenal dysfunction in children, as well as headaches and tremors.
