Elastofibroma

Elastophronma is a rare neoplasm, a tumor consisting of bundles of mature fibrous elements and filling one or another tissue. Another distinctive feature of this tumor is its solid structure. The disease is considered relatively benign, but in fact, if not diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, it turns into a malignant neoplasm. It is observed, as a rule, in the face and neck, less often it spreads to other parts of the body. Elastofibrosarcoma always has a clearly defined capsule (encapsulated neoplasm). As it progresses, it becomes a germinating tumor (infiltrative), capable of destroying nearby tissues.

Hyperplasia refers to a purely dermatological pathology. These types of elamstofbrom are classified as tumor-like skin lesions. They arise due to a violation of cell division. As a result, hyperophia (diffuse or nodular) of the skin is formed. Histology of elamstufbrone tissue reveals cells with clear differentiation and morphological characteristics that are relatively normal. That's why doctors call this tumor Mondor's disease. Cell division is completely irregular and chaotic. New growths are not cancer and have benign properties.
