We had time to restatafter the influx of reviews for the new product from Elseve? Not long ago, the L’Oreal brand sent out a sulfate-free Low Shampoo “Luxury of 6 Oils” to its authors, designed to replace shampoo, conditioner and care at the same time. I hasten to tell you why shampoo is absolutely doesn't fit for co-washing and why it just beautiful as a balm.

I tested the product for quite a long time, during which I even managed to lighten my hair, which had previously been dyed dark many times. Bleached hair requires special care; does Low Shampoo cope with this task?

Testing period: more than 2 months (2 times a week)

Price: ranges from 350 to 550 rubles.

Compound:

Aqua/water, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, coco-betaine, potato starch modified, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, chamomilla recutita extract/matricaria flower extract, cocos nucifera oil/coconut oil, tocopherol, sodium chloride, sodium benzoate, phenoxyethanol, trideceth-6 , polyquaternium-7, helianthus annuus seed oil/sunflower seed oil, nelumbium speciosum flower extract, fumaric acid, benzyl alcohol, linum usitatissimum flower extract/linseed flower extract, amodimethicone, isopropyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, gardenia taitensis flower, rosa canina flower extract, bisabolol, cetyl hydroxyethylcellulose, bht, citric acid, cetrimonium chloride, glycerin, glycine soja oil/soybean oil, parfum/fragrance.

Format I was pleased with the funds. I have long appreciated the convenience of packaging with pumps, so I try to pour every shower product (gels, shampoos, etc.) into similar bottles. There are no unnecessary actions - the shampoo is on the shelf and I don’t even need to open the lid and take the package with wet hands - I press it, and the product is already in the palm of my hand. The pump is made with high quality, does not jam, and dispenses the product carefully.

Consistency The shampoo is very soft, similar to a regular balm or mask. The peculiarity of the shampoo is that it does not foam at all. Low Shampoo is a hybrid shampoo and conditioner that, according to the manufacturer, is ideal for co-washing.

Aroma very pleasant, quite strong, sweet. Stays on the hair for some time, but does not conflict with the perfume. If anyone has tried the “Extraordinary Oil” leave-in wash from the same Elseve, the smell is almost exactly the same.

Consumption economical, which pleasantly surprised me. I thought that a 400 ml bottle would last me a maximum of a month, given the fact that the product does not foam at all. Many girls write that shampoo is simply a waste of money. Well I do not know. But for hair length up to the tailbone, only four presses were enough for me; for the current length up to the waist, three are enough. As a result, there is still about 1/3 of the product left in the bottle, which will definitely last for at least another month.

Application experience

My hair is naturally thin, of medium density, porous, slightly curly, unruly, quite coarse (it’s difficult to achieve softness even with leave-in products), and prone to getting very tangled.

With its main task - cleansing, copes poorly, at least in my case. My scalp is not at all prone to oiliness, my hair and hair roots can remain clean for a long time, so I usually wash my hair 2 times a week.

When using Low Shampoo as a shampoo I have to wash my hair more often - if I wash my hair in the morning, then by the evening the hair roots look very stale - all the volume is lost, the hair at the roots looks like icicles. I suspect that the problem is precisely the type of shampoo - mine is full of oils, it’s not surprising that it makes the roots oily. It may be worth trying another shampoo from the line specifically for co-washing.

At the same time, the remedy is simply works amazing on the rest of the length - hair instantly becomes incredibly soft and smooth! After drying, the effect remains - the hair is manageable, easy to comb, looks alive and beautiful.

Therefore, for myself, I chose this application regimen - I apply another shampoo to the hair roots, massage, rinse from the roots, do not distribute the foam along the length and do not rinse the hair.

Hair after another shampoo. It's noticeable how confused they are

Then, for the rest of the length, stepping back about 10 cm from the roots, I apply Low Shampoo, add a little water, and massage the hair with gentle movements.

Leave the product on my hair for 2 minutes. The effect amazes me every time - my hair looks like it came out of a salon! After some shampoos and conditioners, I feel that my hair is hard and dry, in this case the transformation happens before my eyes.

Experience of use on very dry and split dark hair clogged with pigment

A year ago, I had a very unfortunate experience with a hairdresser, who gave me an ugly haircut: she cut off something like an overgrown bang, made a cut a la “rat tail” and profiled the ends to such an extent that they began to look sparse.

After this incident, I began to be afraid of hairdressers like fire and for more than a year I did not visit hairdressers at all, did not renew the cut, did not cut off the split ends. I hoped that when I grew out the hated bangs, the straight-armed hairstylist would be able to straighten out the cut of my hair (this is what happened, fortunately).

Why such a long preface? So that you can imagine the full scale of the tragedy. This is what my hair looked like before going to the hairdresser, who brought my hair back to life. What is in the photo is the best look of my long-suffering hair at that time, and I was able to achieve it using Low Shampoo (I started using it a month before the haircut). I applied it according to the usual scheme described above.

Means at least somehow tidied up the disgusting and dead ends, and gave the hair softness and manageability. It wasn't so embarrassing to walk around with a broom on your head. This is why I fell in love with Low Shampoo; it’s a pity that I didn’t get my hands on it much earlier. Imagine what it was like without him. To be honest, now I’m even embarrassed to show the photo.

Experience with bleached hair

My hairdresser is a huge smart girl, because she not only cut my hair successfully, but also brought out the light color of my hair, preserving its quality to the maximum. After dyeing, my goal was to maintain the ideal appearance and quality of my hair, especially since in the future I plan to lighten it again (the first time I didn’t get quite the desired shade).

More than a month has passed since the coloring and I appreciated that Low Shampoo, as a balm and treatment, does an excellent job even on colored hair and works no worse than a mask from a professional hair line, costing almost 2 (!) times more expensive.

Slightly damp hair was braided overnight

I usually apply according to the usual pattern, hair instantly softens and become like silk (shown above), in addition, using my fingers, I comb the places where the hair is tangled with gentle movements.

Hair after Low Shampoo, dried with a hairdryer, straightened with a comb

And in general I noticed that hair became much less tangled and electrified, I can comb my hair in the morning and go through the evening without additional combing and not a single tangle forms. Hair has become more manageable, easier to style and retains its effect longer.

Hair on the 4th day after washing and using Low Shampoo as a balm and care (dried naturally), not combed before the photo!

Bottom line

I always try to be as objective as possible. I understand that, first of all, the product is positioned precisely as a shampoo, and with its main task - When it comes to cleansing, Low Shampoo does a poor job. For that 2. But how excellently it works on the rest of the length, instantly turning hair into silk. For caring properties - 5.

Awesome

The shampoo is just great! I am delighted! At first I didn’t understand the texture of the mask, so I applied it, left it for three minutes, then rinsed it thoroughly, and after I dried my hair with a hairdryer, it was something incredible. The hair is washed as if squeaky clean, so pleasant and well-groomed, just great, and the aroma is divine. I already bought a second one and am happy with it. Super super.

Not a very good shampoo

1. Shampoo is NOT ECONOMICAL. I have medium length hair (shoulder length). One application takes about 15-20 pump presses. 2. My hair type: oily at the roots and dry at the ends. The shampoo is aimed at dry and brittle hair. But this shampoo caused a nightmare on my hair: after using the shampoo once, I had the feeling that my hair had not been washed. I washed it again and nothing changed. Through trial and error, I realized that the instructions on the bottle were correct: leave the shampoo on your hair for 3 minutes and then rinse it off. After I started washing my hair according to the instructions, there were slight changes in the quality of my hair washing, but I still could not achieve a feeling of cleanliness on my scalp. 3. The shampoo foams a little despite the fact that it is sulfate-free. I don’t recommend buying until you try samples to evaluate whether this shampoo is right for you.

It's not entirely clear what this is.

Let's start with the design - the packaging is convenient, there is a dispenser. It is not entirely clear what it is and how to use it. Still, the shampoo should rinse the hair well, but here you get the effect of a mask. It's like two in one for hair. It's not always convenient. If you use it as a shampoo, then no. Hair is stuck together and not washed. This is quite a mask, but not for severely damaged hair. Not very moisturizing.

Super

Both my child and I really liked the shampoo. The hair is perfectly smooth and combs perfectly. No balm needed. If you take a lot, then it takes a long time to wash it off due to the concentrated oils, and your hair may feel like it hasn’t been washed. Not suitable for bleached hair, yellow tint appears.

What is this

Dom still can’t figure out what THIS is. It’s a pity that such a large volume is about nothing, well, that is. In general, thank God that I didn’t buy it, otherwise it would have been a pity for the money, my hair is oily in texture, I used it both as a shampoo and as a balm - well, it’s kind of sad in general, my hair was oily and still is , they are not washed at all, there is zero use from it, yes, a convenient dispenser, yes, a pleasant smell, that’s all, I can’t imagine what to do with this bottle (((

Doesn't wash hair.

The shampoo left me quite confused. It seems good that it is sulfate-free, we should be happy. To begin with, I find it unpleasant to use, since it does not lather, but simply smears through my hair. The smell is not mine either. Secondly, it takes a long time to wash it off, apparently because of the oils, it seems like you haven’t washed your hair yet. Well, after drying, the hair looks and feels dirty. I took the girl’s advice from another review and tried to use it as a mask and I liked this use much more. Therefore, I won’t lower the rating completely, but I won’t buy it myself either.

Good balm

I was really looking forward to this box, mostly because of this shampoo, as the manufacturer claims, “without foam.” Well. I was tormented by doubts from the very beginning and for good reason. The shampoo didn’t wash my hair, but it smoothed it out well, my hair didn’t get frizzy, it smelled good, but the roots remained a bit greasy (In the end, I use it as a conditioner or longer, as a mask. If you use it after shampoo, your hair will look very cool! I advise you to try it, but ONLY as a balm.

I liked it

This is my first sulfate-free shampoo. And I liked it and it suited me! The process feels like washing my hair with hair balm. But the hair is soft after it. And, yes, you don’t have to use balm with it. It washes my hair well, the main thing is to rinse it off thoroughly.

Shampoo class))

I really liked the shampoo, my hair felt like it came out of a salon treatment (my hair is undyed). Apply for 3 minutes, although it’s unusual to wash your hair for the first time without a sea of foam, but during this time the shampoo not only cleanses, but also takes care of your hair!) During this time, you can also take care of yourself in another area in the bathroom!) I gave it to my dyed sisters to try hair, she really liked it) I give the shampoo a 5, I will definitely buy more!!))

Cool shampoo!

I liked this product from Loreal. The smell is super, the consistency is creamy, it doesn’t foam very well, but after shampoo the hair is smooth and manageable. My hair is very sensitive to all sorts of products, but this shampoo has proven itself to be an excellent hair product. My hair is oily at the roots and dry at the ends (length below the shoulder blades). The only downside is that it took a month for my hair to get used to it. I switched to another shampoo, Loreal, the same 3 in 1, but for colored hair. so I wash mine one by one))

Nice smell

In general, I did not understand this product. The shampoo does not foam, it is not clear how much is needed for cleansing. As a result, after washing my hair with it and further drying it turned out that my hair was oily:(((washed poorly. The smell of the shampoo is pleasant, the consistency seemed to be the same. But in the end I was not satisfied with the product, because I did not achieve the desired effect.
