Fetal endocarditis is inflammatory lesions of the mitral, tricuspid and aortic valves that occur in newborns with hypoplastic heart valves. Endocarditis is caused by the impact of pathogenic microflora on the tissue matrix of the valves, which consists of type I collagen. The development of infection in the endocardium with infected heart defects depends on the size of the valve and its location. With small hypoplasia, the mitral valve is affected less frequently. The disease may
