Endothelioma

Endotheliomas are benign tumors that arise from the vascular endothelium and have certain structural and functional features. They consist of an outer layer of smooth muscle and an inner layer of endothelial cells.

Endothelomas usually develop in the wall of large veins, aortas, or arteries and may be detected incidentally on ultrasound or when examining blood vessels during other procedures. They can cause a range of symptoms, including changes in skin color, chest discomfort, shortness of breath and palpitations.

Treatment of endotheliomas depends on their location and extent. They are usually removed surgically along with the part of the vessel they affect. However, there are also conservative treatment methods that can reduce symptoms and increase the life expectancy of patients.

One of the main causes of endothelimoma is inflammation of the vascular wall due to various factors, such as smoking, diabetes, arteries
