> Epileptic convulsions that develop at a certain interval after a head injury or severe brain infection.

Symptoms Traumatic epilepsy can develop within hours to weeks after injury. Typical manifestations:

* sudden cessation of movements and turning of the head; * sagging lower jaw;

* short-term dilation of pupils; * various movements of the limbs. The symptoms of the abortive form develop so quickly that the patient may be lost in time. At the time of convulsions, complete or almost complete loss of consciousness is noted.
