Epitheliocyte Intercalary

Epithelial cells (cells that line the surface and fill the space between organs or tissues) perform various functions in the body - protection from the external environment and absorption of substances from it, division of intercellular space and providing communication between cells. Epithelioid cells can have a variety of names depending on the functions they perform. In one of these types of cells - intercalary epithelioid cells (which are also known as epithelioid interstitial cells - epithelialis interstitial cell), we will figure out what they do there.
