Erythema Scarring

**Erythema cicatricial**

Erythema cicatricial (or rugemia) is a skin process that accompanies the healing of skin defects. Most often this is one of the stages of healing. Scarring appears immediately after purulent formation in the skin. The contour of the body itches, and a spot forms nearby.

This process has the following features: During the process of erythema cicatricial, a dense or tense tubercle or scar will certainly appear. This problem has a very characteristic specificity that distinguishes it from other skin diseases.

The scar is created by deep subcutaneous scars. The color of this formation is uneven and heterogeneous. The scar is very dense to the touch. This process usually appears after the inflammation and pus have passed, thanks to which the dermis has begun to recover. There are several variants of the course of cicatricial erythema: primary and secondary. Primary develops with inflammation, infectious problems that are localized

Erythema scar is a skin condition characterized by the appearance of reddish spots that can develop into scarring over time. Scar erythema can be caused by various reasons, including skin trauma, infections, allergies and other diseases. One of the most common causes of cicatricial erythema is mechanical irritation of the skin due to friction or pressure. This can happen by wearing tight clothing, sitting on a hard object for long periods of time, or constantly shaving or scratching sensitive areas of the skin. If you notice such symptoms on your skin, you should consult a doctor.

Typically, scar erythema occurs after the skin has been damaged. As a wound heals, the epidermis (the most superficial layer of skin) begins to grow back, replacing the top layer of damaged skin. This process is called “regeneration” and takes several weeks or months, depending on the degree of damage and the individual characteristics of the body. However, for some people, this process can cause red spots or scars called erythema cicatricial. This condition is a normal process of tissue repair.

One of the causes of ruminal erythema may be allergies to certain substances or medications, such as steroids or anesthetics. Steroid medications can cause dermatitis, which leads to redness and itching.
