Exicosis

Exsiccosis is a condition in which the body loses large amounts of fluid and electrolytes. This can occur with various diseases such as diarrhea, vomiting, burns, severe infections and others.

Symptoms of exicosis may include extreme thirst, dry mouth, decreased urine volume, fatigue, weakness, low blood pressure, and other signs of dehydration.

In case of exicosis, it is important to begin treatment immediately to avoid serious complications. First of all, it is necessary to provide the patient with a sufficient amount of fluid, preferably in the form of saline solutions. Antibiotics and other medications may also be prescribed depending on the cause of exicosis.

In some cases, such as severe infections, the patient may need to be hospitalized for intensive care.
