Esophagophroscope is an endoscope for diagnosing various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals. An important advantage over fibrogastroduodenoscopy is the absence of a limitation on the length of the gastroscope tube, as is the case with conventional gastroscopes, which can be a decisive point when examining the upper parts of the food pipe. Esophagnofiberscopes are intended primarily for examining the upper digestive system, because when using an elastic inflatable probe, the rectum and sigmoid colon can be examined without removing the endoscope from the stomach. Since this probe is usually inexpensive, phobroscopy is often performed with a conventional one-way gastroscope, but as technology develops, disposable flexible endoscopes are being widely introduced. Designed for visual diagnosis of various esophageal injuries using a fiber optic system.
