Interosseous palmar fascia - (f.interossea\volaris). connective tissue membrane up to 5 mm thick, characterized by bilateral symmetry and passing from the palmar edge of the palmaris longus muscle to the styloid processes of the 5 metacarpal bones. Laterally it reaches the tendon of the flexor carpi radialis in the area of the triangular process. Covers the four main carpal intermuscular septa, and in the medial direction passes proximally to the end of the forearm and covers the uncinate processes of the ulna. Posterior to the fascia is the palmar interosseous artery (a. interosseocutanea dorsalis), anterior to it is the vein of the same name and the cutaneous nerve. On the palmar side, the cutout of the interosseous region near the palm is surrounded by a large number of lateral cutaneous vessels passing through the subcutaneous tissue space of the fascial cushion (spatium interossei). Innervation is carried out by the brachial nerve (C6-C8), forming a deep cutaneous trunk.
