Fatty stool (or steatorrhea) is a symptom that manifests itself in the form of fatty or greasy fecal consistency from the intestines. This can be caused by various reasons, such as dysfunction of the liver or pancreas, as well as other digestive organs.
Description: Fatty stools - see Steatorrhea. Fatty stools can also occur with diseases of the liver and pancreas. For example, hepatic steatosis is one of the main risk factors for fatty infiltration of the pancreas (focal steatonecrosis). Less commonly, fatty invasion of the pancreas can develop in patients with diabetes. Fatty stool
