Paramedic and Midwifery Station

A paramedic-midwifery point or FAP is a treatment and preventive point that is part of the medical institutions of a rural medical district and is intended to provide pre-medical care and carry out sanitary, anti-epidemic and preventive measures in the territory of a rural settlement.

The FAP is a medical care center for people living in remote and sparsely populated areas. It ensures the availability of medical care for all segments of the population, regardless of age, gender and social status.

The main tasks of the FAP are: conducting preventive examinations of the population, identifying and treating diseases, providing first aid in emergency conditions, and carrying out sanitary education work among the population.
