Fetimin

Fetimin is an antifungal agent of various groups, which is produced in Slovenia by the Krka company. The international name of the drug is Naftifine, and its synonyms are Exoderil. Fetimin is available in the form of a 1% cream.

Fetimin can be used to treat fungal infections of the skin and hair, such as athlete's foot, skin folds, etc., skin candidiasis, onychomycosis and mycoses, accompanied by secondary bacterial infection.

One of the main contraindications for Fethimin is hypersensitivity to either propylene glycol (for solution) or benzyl alcohol (for cream). In addition, the drug is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women, as well as children under 12 years of age. Side effects include local reactions such as burning, erythema and dryness, which may occur when using Fetimin.

It is worth noting that interactions with other drugs have not been studied. Therefore, its use is not recommended in combination with the use of other medications without a doctor's recommendation.
