Phibs is a biogenic stimulant that was developed in Ukraine; its manufacturer is the Odessa Chemical Fiber Enterprise (OCF).
Phibs belongs to the pharmacological group of biogenic stimulants. This drug has a wide range of uses and is used to treat various diseases related to the eyes, joints and nervous system. It can be used to treat blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, vitreous opacities, etc. However, it should be taken into account that it is contraindicated in cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, pregnancy and renal dysfunction, as it may cause side effects.
Phibse may interact with other drugs, but this has not been studied. There is also no data on overdose and special instructions for storage and use of the drug.
In the reference book "Medicines", ed. Klyuev M.A., Moscow 2002, in the “Phibs” section there is information about dosage forms and composition of the drug. This reference book states that Phibse is produced from distillate estuary mud, which contains cinnamic acid and coumarin. In addition, the use of Fibs for various diseases is described, including blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratopathy, cataracts, chorioretiniotis and others. It was also noted that there were no adverse reactions, interactions with other drugs or overdose with the drug.
