Field of View Tubular

Tubular field of vision is one of the types of visual impairment, which is characterized by a change in the shape and size of the pupil of the eye. The cause of this disorder may be inflammation of the eye membrane, its death, or tumors. Most often, treatment is carried out surgically. A person sees blurredly due to the fact that the mirror of the eye has stopped focusing on the retina, and the pupil has lost its shape and size, becoming too small or large. The pupil itself can be either narrow or wide. If the disease is chronic, it may be necessary to change the type of lens and perform microiridocyclopetroplasty. When treating a patient's field of vision, special drops that dilate the pupils often help. However, therapy should be carried out only after consultation with a specialist and examination of the patient’s visual system.
