Phylogenetics

Phylogenesis and eogenesis: the relationship between evolutionary and genetic processes in biological evolution. Phylogeny as a theoretical basis for the natural classification of living organisms

Phylogenetics (from the Greek φιλολογία - love of words and γενέσις - birth, origin) is a science that studies the origin, evolution, and relationships between different types of living organisms. It is based on evolutionary theory and the concept of speciation and explains how one living thing evolved into another over time.

One of the main methods of phylogenetics is the study of genetic similarities between different
