Phosfestrol is a synthetic analogue of estrogens and is a 3,5,10-trihydroxyestradiene-17-one-11,21-diol. The chemical structure of Phosphastrols replicates the structure of the natural estrogen estradiol. It differs from the latter in the nature of its interaction with the receptors of the female body.
