Chronic sinusitis (CP, rhinosinusitis chronicus, s.c. - RFS) is called rhinitis of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, lasting more than 12 weeks and recurring more than twice a year [1]. In conditions of focal inflammation of the mucous membrane of the frontal or ethmoid passages and diffuse, covering all parts of the nose and accessory cavities, the term “chronic” is conditional, especially if perichondritis of the anterior surface of the cartilage of the nasal septum occurs [7].
