Dosage forms - solution for injection 150 mg, tablets 100 mg, solution for injection 50 mg
Composition - Active ingredient - Bencyclane.

Indications for use:

  1. Cerebrovascular disorders, cerebrovascular diseases of atherosclerotic and angiospastic origin, vascular diseases of the eyes, occlusion of the central retinal artery, diabetic angiopathy, obliterating diseases of peripheral arteries of various origins, angiodystonia, postoperative and post-traumatic disorders of peripheral circulation, variant angina,
  2. Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, other gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by spastic or hypermotor dyskinesia of the esophagus, stomach, biliary tract, intestines,
  3. Renal colic, urinary tract spasms, broncho-obstructive syndrome.

Contraindications:

  1. Renal failure, severe liver dysfunction, respiratory failure, tachyarrhythmias.

Side effect:

  1. Dizziness, headache, general weakness, agitation, sleep disturbances, tremor, epileptiform symptoms, hallucinations, dry mouth, nausea, anorexia, diarrhea, transient increase in the activity of hepatic transaminases, tachycardia, leukopenia. Sometimes renal dysfunction.

Interaction:

  1. Strengthens deprivation caused by anesthesia and sedatives.
  2. Increases the likelihood of tachyarrhythmias against the background of sympathomimetics and the risk of cardiac depression under the influence of potassium-removing drugs (diuretics, corticosteroids).

Overdose:

  1. Manifested by hypotension and psychomotor agitation. Treatment: symptomatic.

Special instructions:

  1. When administered parenterally, it is recommended to change injection sites (to prevent thrombophlebitis).
  2. With long-term use, it is necessary to systematically monitor liver function and general blood tests.
  3. When prescribed simultaneously with drugs that cause hypokalemia, cardiac glycosides, cardiodepressants, the daily dose should not exceed 150-200 mg.
