Gastrostomy According to Doronin

Doronin S.V. proposed a method of treating biliary fistula using esophageal plastic surgery using a tube from the stomach. The method was called Doronin's operation - gastrostomy. The technique is described in the author's monograph. The greatest experience in performing the operation belongs to Terentyev A.F. , who applied the technique in the treatment of 25 patients with grade 3-4 fistulas. Complications occurred in 2 patients, without any deaths. The method is recommended for the treatment of patients with imperforated sinus, gross deformation of the mouth, and inadequate mouth capacity.
