In recent years, experts have increasingly noted an increase in the number of cases of hospitalization in newborns and newborns. Mochgasm of a child occurs as a result of the influence of various factors at birth: hypoxia or asphyxia, weakness of labor, untimely birth of a child, the use of oxygen directly during childbirth, which ultimately leads to the development of a painful condition.
With congenital geroderma, the skin, mucous membranes and subcutaneous tissue are affected. Some children experience changes in individual organs and systems. The painful process begins from the moment the first hair appears on the head - due to the active action of endogenous and exogenous factors, the hair looks like a “goose feather”, and also marked hyperkeratosis of soft tissues and callous thickening of the stratum corneum of the skin, accompanied by purplish erythema, swelling and peeling . Pustules appear along the edges of the hairs - thrombosed follicles and sebaceous glands.
Etiology. The etiology of perinatal geroderma has not been sufficiently studied. The hereditary nature of the disease is assumed (in some cases, the development of pathology has been noted in blood relatives). It is also possible that extragenital factors are involved: intrauterine fetal hypoxia, maternal ARVI, etc.
