Hydremia (Hydremia; h. from the Latin Hydor - water and emesis - vomiting) - an increase in the amount of blood in the circulation due to plasma or the total amount of fluid in the body, an increase in the volume of circulating blood in relation to the volume of the extravascular space. This condition occurs due to excess fluid intake, the body’s inability to excrete fluid from the vascular bed, as well as concomitant swelling of the cells of organs and tissues.
Causes of physiological hydremia: excessive drinking, secretion of vasopressin, sudden
