Hirsch Triade was an Austrian physician and microbiologist who lived in the 20th century. He was known for his research in microbiology and immunology. Hirsh Triandafilov received many awards for his work in these areas, including the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1950.
Hirsch was born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1897. As a child, he was interested in medicine and dreamed of becoming a doctor, so after graduating from school he entered the medical faculty of Lviv University. After graduating from university, Girsh worked as the chief physician of a small city, and then moved to Kiev University, where he studied with the outstanding microbiologist Ilya Mechnikov. Soon after this, Hirsch moved to Germany, where he continued his scientific work at various universities and scientific institutes.
