Glaucoma - decompensation form
Glaucoma is a progressive eye disease that causes decreased visual acuity and damage to the optic nerves. In this text we will consider the decompensated form of glaucoma, which is one of the most severe and common forms of this disease.
Glaucoma is called decompensated when intraocular pressure is at a critical level and the functioning of the optic nerve is disrupted. This condition can lead to permanent deterioration of vision and even loss of the ability to see. In decompensated glaucoma, there is a persistent increase in intraocular pressure that exceeds the upper normal level
