Diffuse glioblastosis is a severe form of brain tumor. Most often, this disease is diagnosed in people aged 50 years and older. It belongs to tumors of a neurogenic nature. Glioblastoma has a relatively slow growth rate and is more common than astrocytoma or oligodendroglioma. One of the main risk factors for developing brain cancer is smoking (it has been proven that the risk of developing glioblastoma increases five times!).
