**The field hospital is temporary.** During the Great Patriotic War, army hospitals were located in places convenient for long-term treatment - in forests, on high places (cliffs), near small villages and in other suitable places.

Field hospitals of the pre-war and war years can be divided roughly into permanent and temporary. By type of terrain - mobile and stationary, and by location of construction - field (floating) and coastal.

Permanent hospitals were located so that the hospital building was as convenient as possible in all respects for a given medical institution. Every meter of land is important here,
