Graphophobia

Graphophobia is a mental illness characterized by a strong irrational fear of writing a text or other document. A person is terrified of writing and even thinks about acquiring fecal and urinary incontinence, talking or even choking. Although this seems like a fairly simple fear, it is actually incredibly difficult due to its intensity and persistence. But how to get rid of graphophobia? Well, let's find out.

Causes

Some psychologists argue that the most common morbid fear of writing is related to the fact that a person actually experiences such a problem in everyday life - for example, his handwriting is sloppy, illegible and neat. All people can experience this condition because it is associated with many factors. Not every person can write beautifully, accurately, legibly and at the same time quickly. Firstly, a graphomaniac may be due to accents. This happens, for example, with foreigners or immigrants for whom this language is not their native language.
