Gram Method

The Gram method is one of the most famous and widely used microbiological diagnostic methods, which was proposed in 1901 by the Danish bacteriologist and pharmacologist Christian Graham. This method was named after him and is used to determine whether bacteria belong to a particular group based on their morphological properties such as shape, size and color.

Gram positive bacteria, or bacilli, have a thick cell wall that protects them from external influences and gives them their characteristic appearance under a microscope. These bacteria stain Gram red, which means they do not dissolve in iodine solution and retain their original appearance after staining.

On the other hand, gram negative bacteria, or cocci, have a thin cell wall and are Gram-stained blue. They can also be shaped like sticks or spheres and may be coated with a capsule that gives them extra protection.

The Gram method is used in clinical practice to diagnose various infectious diseases, such as pneumonia, meningitis, sepsis and others. It is also used in the food industry to control food quality and in the production of antibiotics to determine their effectiveness.

Is there a truly universal method for processing all aspects of speech to improve communication efficiency?

It would seem that the answer is obvious - yes. In fact, it is not about any technical method, but about the ability to speak and listen. This is a skill that each of us can master, regardless of age, education and level of intelligence.

Thus, Mark Gungor claims that 95% of communication problems are related to our internal monologue. That is, when you listen to your interlocutor, you are not aware that you are simply talking to yourself. After all, our internal dialogue constantly sounds in our head, like background music. “When talking,” we automatically switch to internal dialogue, distracted by thoughts about various things and thereby focusing our attention not on the interlocutor, but on our mental process. But people call those who talk about nothing, those who talk a lot without stopping. That is why those who “suddenly” become interested in us can, at the initial stage, being carried away by the conversation, mistake us for those who like to chat, while it seems to us that we are having a meaningful conversation.

There is an opinion that each of us has our own radio station inside.
