Greek Resection

Grekov resection (or Grekov resection) is a surgical operation developed by the Soviet surgeon I.I. Grekov in the 19th century. This operation is used to remove malignant tumors and other growths in the abdominal area.

Grekov resection involves removal of the tumor along with adjacent tissues and blood vessels. This is done to prevent the cancer from spreading to other organs and tissues.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and requires highly qualified and experienced surgeons. After surgery, the patient undergoes chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy to prevent relapse.
