Complete inguinal hernia A hernia is an external manifestation of diseases of the internal organs - that is, they move out of the position provided by nature: the intestine protrudes through the external anal sphincter or passes through the inguinal canal into the scrotum or inguinal space.

Based on location, the following types of inguinal hernias are distinguished: * Oblique inguinal hernias. They are located on the right and left, and also often occur in combination; the hernial sac can reach quite large sizes, extending beyond the white line. In the case of a right-sided oblique hernia, it is located mainly under the liver, partially under the anterior abdominal wall, under the ends of the 2nd and 3rd intercostal spaces, which is accompanied by characteristic local pain
