Gubarev-Rachinsky Method

Gubarev-Rachinsky method: history and application

The Gubarev-Rachinsky method, also known as the Gubarev-Rachinsky-Ritter method, is one of the most common methods of obstetrics. It was developed at the beginning of the 20th century by two outstanding gynecologists - A.P. Gubarev and N.I. Rachinsky.

Alexander Petrovich Gubarev (1855-1931) was a famous Soviet anatomist and obstetrician-gynecologist. He worked at Moscow University, where he created the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was its first head.

Nikolai Ivanovich Rachinsky (1865-1922) was a Russian gynecologist who worked at the Moscow City Hospital and the Moscow Women's Medical Institute. He was the author of many works on obstetrics and gynecology and is considered one of the founders of these sciences in Russia.

The Gubarev-Rachinsky method was developed at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century and is based on the use of special massage techniques that speed up the process of childbirth and make it easier. This method is based on the idea that labor depends on the condition of the muscles of the uterus, as well as on the use of massage to stimulate labor.

The Gubarev-Rachinsky method includes several basic massage techniques, such as massage of the anterior abdominal wall, massage of the posterior abdominal wall, massage of the cervix and others. It may also involve the use of special techniques to speed up the opening of the cervix and reduce pain.

The use of the Gubarev-Rachinsky method can speed up the birth process and make it more comfortable for mother and child. However, like all methods of childbirth, it has its limitations and should only be used under the supervision of an experienced physician.

Currently, the Gubarev-Rachinsky method is still widely used in Russian and world obstetric practice. It is one of the most common methods of obstetrics and continues to attract the attention of both specialists and expectant parents.

The Gubarev-Rachinsky method is a set of exercises that helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve the health of the pelvic organs, including preventing urinary and fecal incontinence. It was created in the 19th century by obstetrician Anatoly Gubarev together with gynecologist Nikolai Ivanovich Rachinsky. Unlike other methods, the course includes both strength exercises and muscle stretching exercises to restore their elasticity. The method allows you to return the uterine muscle to tone in case of postpartum weakening or complete dysfunction of the uterus - it can help with prolapse of organs, expand the urinary passage with atony of the bladder. The method, which was actively spreading in Russian medicine in 1912, was soon forgotten, since its effectiveness was no longer so obvious, but urological pessaries became popular, which could not but affect the reputation of the therapeutic method. Today, doctors highlight the following advantages of the Gubareva-Rachin method: 1. It is effective in treating diseases of the urinary system. 2. Improves a woman’s reproductive functions. 3. Quickly increases sexual desire. 4. The technique improves the condition of the skin, reducing the number of wrinkles in the perineal area.
