What is an ACS?

Automated control systems or ACS are a unique way of managing technological equipment. This system is a set of components and their connections that are used to obtain up-to-date information from equipment and determine the need for control actions. With the help of an automated control system, each element of the complex is controlled, because all processes have the ability to be controlled.

History of origin. The creation of an automated control system began relatively recently. The first complex that could be classified as an automated control system appeared only in the 40s - it was an automatic product production line. And a little later, the creation of data collection and processing systems began, systems for transmitting data over wires were developed, and the production of computers began, but such complexes could not be called the same as we see them today. Current state of management This term is divided into several subtypes: - Automated technological installation; - ACS in industry; - Auto
