Hemostatic Clips

Hemostatic clips are small clips used to stop bleeding during surgery. They are placed on blood vessels to compress them and stop blood flow.

Clips are made from biocompatible materials, most often titanium or polymers. They have a spring mechanism that allows the vessel to be compressed when the clip is applied. Thanks to this, a reliable stop of bleeding is achieved.

There are disposable and reusable clip models. Disposable ones are removed with the patient after surgery. Reusable ones can be reused after sterilization.

Advantages of hemostatic clips:

  1. Quick and reliable stop of bleeding.
  2. Easy to use.
  3. Possibility of use in hard-to-reach places.
  4. Minimal tissue trauma.

Clips are widely used in many areas of surgery: abdominal, vascular, gynecological, urological and others. They can significantly reduce surgery time and the risk of complications associated with blood loss.

Hemostatic clips are a medical instrument that is used to stop bleeding that occurs due to wounds or trauma. Clips are miniature clamps that are attached to the skin around the bleeding site. They can be used both in medicine and in other industries, such as construction or design.

Clips are a very simple and effective way to help with bleeding. Their use does not require special skills, and the application itself takes only a few minutes. Once installed, the clips securely secure the skin around the wound, thereby preventing further bleeding. This allows the doctor to immediately move on to other procedures without worrying about the bleeding coming back.
