Hepatitis Viral Recurrent

Viral hepatitis (hepatitis B) is an acute or chronic viral infectious process, manifested by various clinical syndromes and morphologically affecting only liver cells.

Toxic jaundice. Develops mainly in middle and older age. In cases of massive necrosis of hepatocytes, bile-stained serum may contain about 75–80% hemoglobin. The disappearance of indirect bilirubin is not accompanied by regression of intrahepatic cholestasis syndrome. Hepatosplenomegaly, hyperfermentemia, and dysproteinemia persist. Intoxication syndrome is mild.
