Pentacard-40

Pentacard-40 is one of the antianginal drugs for the treatment of angina pectoris (prevention) and chronic heart failure (combination therapy), produced in Germany by the company Bik Gulden GmbG together with Cedona Pharmaceutical from the Netherlands.

The active ingredient of the drug is isosorbide mononitrate, which prevents heart attacks and improves blood circulation in organs. The medicine contains different marketing names depending on the manufacturer, such as monocinque.

The medicine is used as an antianginal and dilates blood vessels in the heart, reducing blood pressure. As a result, blood flow improves and oxygen is delivered to the heart, which helps prevent angina.

These tablets are contraindicated for people who are hypersensitive to the drug, such as newborns and pregnant women. Remember that medications can cause various side effects and exacerbations. If you have any doubts about taking Pentacard-40, it is better to consult your doctor.

Side effects include weakness, nausea, nausea, and dizziness while taking the medication. When a nitrate headache appears with a decrease in blood pressure, including orthostatic, reflex tachycardia occurs. The drug can also cause allergies.
