Hertel Schina - (f.f. hartal) - 19th century revolutionary, leader of a peasant uprising in Central Europe. In 1844, Hertel Schinoy, together with local peasants, began an uprising against the aristocracy and nobility in Germany. Hertel Shinoy had a broad understanding of social justice and recognition of the role of the masses, which was expressed in his addresses and proclamations. The Hertel-Shin uprising was suppressed by the royal army, but caused a wide response among the working class, and became a prototype for further resistance to the authorities and rulers.
