Cholangiocarcinoma

Cholangioma is a tumor developing from the walls of the bile ducts, often combined with liver damage. It is more common in people over 40 years of age. It is characterized by polymorphism and slow growth in the form of a node or tuberous mass. It usually grows from intrahepatic bile ducts or extrahepatic bile tree.



The branch of medicine - oncology, deals with the study of the problem of malignant tumors. There are cancers of internal organs, including the kidneys, gallbladder and liver. In our article we will talk about such a type of neoplasia as cholangiocellular oncology or cholangiocellular carcinoma. The disease has another name – cholangioadenoma.

Cholangiocytic tumor is a malignant tumor arising from the epithelium of the bile ducts. The bile ducts are a system that transports bile obtained after the conversion of dietary fat from the stomach to the small intestine.
