Cholangiola

Cholangioles are capillary tubules that carry blood waste from liver cells to the bile duct. They are part of the liver's circulatory system and play an important role in its functioning.

Although blood moves through the veins, it also passes through the cholangiola. This occurs when blood from the liver that it cannot pump out flows into the veins located along the edge of the liver. It is then collected into several large channels called cholangioles and transported to the liver.

Cholangiol

Cholangioles are intermediate vessels of the liver, connecting the two main hepatic veins and the bile capillary. They are different types of vessels that enter the liver through bile capillaries and can have different structures and locations. Their main function is to deliver substances from the blood that are synthesized by the liver, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates and vitamins.
