Gastrogenic cholangitis (Cholangia gastrogenae) is a diffuse inflammation of the bile ducts. One of the leading reasons is the spread of infectious inflammatory processes from the stomach and duodenum into the biliary system through the lower esophagogastric sphincter. That is, from the pathologically altered pylorus pylorus to the distal parts of the gastrointestinal tract.
Gastrogenic cholangitis is an acute inflammation of the bile ducts, which can be caused by a bacterial infection or other causes. It manifests itself with symptoms such as jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and fever. Treatment of gastrogenic cholangitis begins with antibiotics. If antibiotics don't help,
