Hydronephrosis is a kidney disease in which the bladder cannot function properly and urine retention occurs. This is due to an obstruction in the flow of urine from the kidney, which can lead to the development of a urinary tract infection.
Hydronephrosis comes in different degrees - I, II or III. The higher the degree of the disease, the greater the risk of complications and pain in the lower back and abdomen. With infected hydronephrosis - h.infecta - urine from the ureter passes through the injured canals into the kidney, and this can lead to stones and infection. In the later stages of hydronephritis, arterial hypertension, nephrosclerosis and chronic renal failure may appear.
How does hydronephritis manifest?
Most people with **infected** hydronephrosis (h.infectad) have symptoms of a urinary tract infection: \- pain in the pubic bone, \- difficulty urinating, \- frequent urination
