Hyperpituitarism Partial

Hyperpituitrisim is a pathological condition of the endocrine system caused by excessive secretion of hormones from the anterior pituitary gland. The most common type of anterior lobe hyperfunction is hyperpituitism, which occurs due to tumor or destruction of the pituitary gland. It can be complete or partial depending on the amount of hormones secreted and the degree of their excess.

In the medical literature, several forms of hyperpituitism are distinguished depending on the location of the pituitary gland lesion.
