Ichthyosis Bullous

Bullous ichthyosis (Latin "i(3). bullosa") is a chronic skin disease with recurrent outbreaks and blistering. It is degenerative in nature and leads to changes in the epidermal layer and skin atrophy. The main cause of the disease is a deficiency of proteolytic enzymes in the body, which leads to the formation of blisters and loss of skin elasticity. Bullous ichthyasis occurs in patients of all ages, but most often occurs during puberty or adulthood. Treatment of bullous ichthyosis includes the use of local remedies - creams, ointments and balms, as well as the use of corticosteroid drugs to combat inflammation and itching. However, even with effective treatment, this condition can lead to serious health consequences and limitation of activity, especially if the patient has other chronic diseases. To prevent bullous ichthyasis, it is recommended to maintain personal hygiene, eat right and control the level of hormones in the blood, which will help reduce the likelihood of this disease.
