Intestinal crisis

Intestinal crisis is a condition in which the temperature rises slightly to 38 degrees Celsius, along with abdominal pain, headache and the presence of red spots on the skin or other inflammatory manifestations in the gastrointestinal tract. Typically, this condition does not require emergency medical attention and usually goes away within a few days.

There may be several reasons for the occurrence of an intestinal crisis. It can be:

-infections such as salmonella, shigella, colibacillus;

-stress, including nervous tension, fatigue or sleep problems;

-food poisoning; - hypothermia;

Symptoms of an intestinal crisis may include redness and dryness of the skin, fever, headache, bouts of diarrhea, malaise, stomach and urinary pain. In some cases, admission to the intensive care unit may be required.
