Inventory

Hello! Today I want to tell you what inventory is.

An inventory count is when a store or business owner counts everything he owns. For example, a shoe store owner might count all the boots, shoes, and insoles in his store. This helps him know how much of the total product he has.

He can also count his regular customers. It's interesting to know how many people regularly buy shoes from his store.

Let's imagine that we are helping a shoe store owner take inventory. He asks us to count all the red shoes in the store. Let's quickly go through the rows and count them! I counted 5 pairs of red shoes. How many did you find?

Great! Now let's record this in the inventory table. In the first column we will write “red shoes”, and in the second - the number that we counted.

The store owner will be very grateful to us for our help with inventory. Now he knows exactly how many red shoes he has in the store! Taking inventory is a very important part of running a business.
