Exudative nephritis is one of the forms of chronic glomerulonephritis. It is characterized by an inflammatory process in the glomeruli of the kidneys and severe swelling around them. Damage to blood vessels, which leads to hemorrhages in the kidney tissue and the formation of exudate. This type of nephritis is caused by various immune reactions and chronic inflammation. Most often, the disease develops between the ages of 20 and 40, but it also occurs at older ages.
Exudative type nephritis is also known as glomeruloerythrocytic nephritis. This is the most common type of nephritis among women over 50 years of age. Unlike other forms, with this disease most cases occur spontaneously, for no apparent reason. The progression of the disease varies from mild to severe, rarely leading to renal failure.
Symptoms of the disease include: - decreased amount of urine produced; - increased weight; - pain in the back and lower back; - swelling (including around the eyes); - headache and dizziness; - fatigue and weakness; - high blood pressure; - decreased vision.
Causes:
- infectious diseases (viral hepatitis, malaria, HIV, tuberculosis). - hypothermia; - injuries;
Treatment:
For exudative nephritis, treatment is prescribed in two directions: combating the root cause and symptomatic treatment. To eliminate the pathology, the following medications are used: antihypertensive drugs, immunosuppressants, antibiotics, diuretics, drugs to improve protein synthesis in the blood, infusion solutions. In the first stages of the development of the disease, in addition to medications prescribed by a doctor, you can use herbal tinctures and home recipes. They will help reduce symptoms and speed up the healing process. If renal function is impaired, reduce the dosage, prescribe supportive measures, and monitor the patient's condition. If symptoms persist for a long time, a kidney transplant is recommended.
