Essence.
This is a gum with an unpleasant taste, imported from Arab countries. Some say it is sandarak, but this is not certain. Sometimes it is fumigated with myrrh and maya.

Kaikahun has little nutritional value.

If you drink three to four dirhams of this gum every day with sikanjubin or with water, then nothing compares with it in quickly eliminating toothache and loosening the gums.

If you drink it with shikanjubin for three days, it causes severe loss of weight in the spleen.
